Lock your Mac to one thing.

Pick one app or one browser tab and how long. Everything else steps aside until the timer ends, then comes back exactly where it was.

The FocusBerry sheet under the menu bar: a list of open browser tabs and apps to choose from, a duration, and how hard it is to leave early.

How a session goes

  1. Pick one thing

An app, a single browser tab, or a whole browser. Choose how long, from a few minutes to a few hours.

  2. Everything else steps aside

Other windows are minimized and other screens go dark or show a calm backdrop. Nothing is closed and nothing is lost.

  3. The timer decides

When time is up, your windows and tabs come back exactly where they were.

How hard is it to leave early? You choose.

  • EasyEnd anytime with one click.
  • StandardHold for two seconds to end.
  • BreaksUp to two five-minute breaks, no early end.
  • TypingType a passage with no mistakes to end. Paste is off.
  • ImpossibleProNo way out until the timer ends.

It stays on your Mac

FocusBerry works on your Mac. It has no analytics and no tracking, and it never reads the pages you visit, your passwords or your history. It only sees the titles and addresses of your tabs, so you can pick one.

An account is optional: sign in with Apple or Google to keep FocusBerry Pro on all your Macs. Read the privacy policy.
